Rita Lehmann, graduated from Chapman University with a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. She has specialized in eating disorders and related disorders treating adolescents and adults for over 20 years. Rita brings abundant experience from hospital treatment programs and private practice; her empathetic approach, clinical knowledge and extensive experience add to the quality of treatment for each patient at Miramar Health. As a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, Rita's treatment approach includes knowledge of recent research and advances in the field of the treatment of eating disorders. Rita's focus is to tailor the treatment approach to the needs of the individual patient and to maintain continuity of care between that patient and the treatment team.
