Dr. Robinson is a licensed clinical psychologist, having obtained her Doctorate Degree in Psychology from the American Behavioral Studies Institute. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in the treatment of children and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. Dr. Robinson has served as a Program Director, as well as in various other positions in several inpatient, residential, and outpatient eating disorder treatment programs. Utilizing a multi-faceted approach in her treatment style, she focuses on uncovering and healing the deep-seated emotional pain and/or trauma that typically underlies an eating disorder. Dr. Robinson is a certified continuing education provider and has developed and presented numerous seminars on the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. She has also appeared on nationally distributed educational videos/materials concerning the identification of eating disorders in adolescents. Dr. Robinson’s additional and diverse professional experience includes duties as the mental health consultant for WBTV Channel 2 in Denver, Colorado, primary psychologist for a large segment of the pediatric AIDS hospice population, and as an adjunct psychologist to the post-trauma Columbine High School student body.
